The bodies of two additional children have been recovered from the Sunkoshi River, bringing the tragic death toll to three. The victims have been identified as 8-year-old Chokalchandra Magar and 11-year-old Rekha Magar. Their bodies were discovered approximately 1 kilometer below Dhaplang Ghat.
The children’s bodies have been sent for autopsies at the district hospital. This heartbreaking development follows the recovery of 9-year-old Ridham Magar‘s body on Tuesday.
The three children went missing after celebrating the Holi festival on Sunday in Dhaplang, Ward No. 14 of Triyuga Municipality of Udayapur.
