A young woman who had been missing from Kathmandu for a month has been tragically found murdered. Sushma Lama, a 12th-grade student, disappeared on Magh 22. Her body was discovered in the Tarebhir forest, with her hands and feet bound.
District Police Complex SP Nabaraj Adhikari confirmed the discovery. The Valley Crime Investigation Office has opened an investigation into the suspicious death, led by SSP Somendrasingh Rathore. Technical examinations are underway.
Before the discovery, Lama’s family had filed a missing person report with the Boudhha police circle.
