Kathmandu, Nepal – A taxi that plunged into the Rudramati River on Sunday evening has been recovered. The vehicle, with registration number Ba 2 Ja 1792, was found this morning near the UN Park in Thapathali.
The taxi had gone missing after falling into the river in front of Madan Bhandari College. A dedicated search and rescue operation was launched by the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 20 Disaster Rescue Team, which included a team of 11 personnel and two divers.
The successful recovery of the taxi brings an end to the search efforts and provides closure for the concerned authorities.
