BIRATCHOWK, NEPAL – Nepal’s Weather Forecasting Division reports that a confluence of western and local wind patterns will result in varied weather conditions across the country today.
The Division predicts clear skies this afternoon throughout the hilly regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Meanwhile, the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces should expect a mix of partly cloudy to mostly clear skies.
Forecasters anticipate the possibility of light rain, thunder, and lightning in certain hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, isolated locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces might experience light snowfall.
As the day progresses into the evening, the hilly terrain is likely to see a partial change in weather patterns. In contrast, the rest of the country should maintain clear conditions throughout the night.
