A seven-vehicle collision occurred on May 29th along the Araniko Highway in Kavre’s Sanga, causing injuries to two individuals.
The accident unfolded when a southbound tanker truck collided with slow-moving traffic, triggering a chain reaction. The impact involved five vehicles and two motorbikes. According to the District Traffic Police Office Banepa, the vehicles involved were trucks, cars, pick-up trucks, and motorbikes.
The crash injured motorcyclist Prakash Sapkota of Panauti Municipality 2, Kavre, and scooter driver Debina Karmacharya of Banepa 5. Thankfully, all five car occupants emerged unharmed.
Both injured individuals were transported to the hospital for medical attention. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the District Traffic Police Office Banepa.
