Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha is embarking on a week-long visit to China today, responding to an invitation extended by Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China.
As per his secretariat, Shrestha is scheduled to depart for China at 11 o’clock tonight. During his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha is slated to engage in bilateral discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on March 26. Additionally, he intends to convene meetings with esteemed officials from the People’s Republic of China in Beijing and various provinces, as outlined by the ministry.
Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha’s itinerary anticipates his return home on April 1.
