Nepal Bids Farewell to Monsoon

As the monsoon season concludes, temperatures across Nepal have begun to decrease gradually. The Department of Water and Meteorology has attributed this cooling trend to the influence of western and local winds in certain regions.

The Kathmandu Valley has already experienced a drop in temperature, with the current reading at 16 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature for today is expected to range between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius.

Regional Weather Forecast:

  • Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces: Partly to mostly cloudy skies with a possibility of light rain and thunderstorms in some areas.
  • Remaining regions: Clear skies with calm weather conditions.

The department has advised residents to stay updated on the latest weather forecasts, especially those living in hilly areas where there is a higher likelihood of precipitation.
