Nepal’s batting order faced a difficult start in the first semi-final of the ACC Premier Cup T-20 tournament 2024. Opener Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed on the very first ball of the match, caught by wicketkeeper Haider off the bowling of fast bowler Junaid Siddique.

After losing the toss and being invited to bat at Al Amerat Cricket Ground 1, Nepal struggled to build momentum. Asif Sheikh followed Bhurtel’s dismissal, falling LBW to fast bowler Omid Rahman for 8 runs off 11 balls (including one six).

At the time of writing, Nepal has scored 12 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 3.4 overs. Rohit Poudel (2 runs off 9 balls) and Sundeep Jora are currently at the crease, looking to rebuild the innings.
