KIRTIPUR, NEPAL – Ireland Wolves have put themselves in a dominant position to complete a clean sweep of the ODI series against Nepal A after posting a formidable 285-run target in the third and final match.

Winning the toss and choosing to bat, Stephen Doheny’s exceptional century (107 runs) powered the Irish innings at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground. PJ Moor added a valuable 44 runs, and M Humphreys chipped in with 23 to further boost the total.

Nepal ‘A’ bowlers Rijan Dhakal and Ranjit Kumar put forth a strong effort, claiming three wickets each. Bikash Aagri and Shahab Alam also contributed with a wicket apiece.

Despite the bowling highlights, Nepal ‘A’ faces an uphill battle. They’ve already lost the series after conceding defeats in the first two matches (by 21 runs and 114 runs, respectively). Additionally, Ireland Wolves recently claimed victory in the T20 series against Nepal ‘A’, demonstrating their strength across formats.

The pressure is on the home team to chase down the challenging target and salvage a victory in the final match to avoid being swept in the ODI series.
