The Nepal Fashion Festival is set to dazzle from May 24th to 26th, featuring fashion runways every evening at the Heritage Garden in Lalitpur Sanepa. Established designers will showcase their latest creations, and the festival will also be a launchpad for aspiring models!
A casting call will be held this Saturday, inviting those aged 18 and over to audition for a chance to walk the catwalk.
“The Nepal Fashion Festival models squad is a chance for young people to break into the modeling world,” says Festival founder Prashant Tamrakar. “The runway is our centerpiece – a celebration of style, beauty, and the creativity of the fashion industry.”
The three-day festival also promises a vibrant showcase with boutiques, designers, studios, event managers, and beauty product companies all participating.
The audition panel will include:
- Prashant Tamrakar – Choreographer and actor
- Rajbhai Suwal – Fashion photographer
- Deepa Gurung – Beauty entrepreneur
- Sarisha Shrestha – Miss Nepal Earth 2022
- UB Thapa – Fashion designer
