KATHMANDU – The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is embarking on a historic visit to England to raise the profile of football amongst the Nepalese community there and throughout broader South Asian communities. As part of the visit, the Nepali National Football Team will face England C in an international friendly match at Aldershot Town’s EBB Stadium on Monday, 6 May 2024, at 7:45 pm Nepal Time.
This fixture is a key element of the Football Association’s (FA) Asian Inclusion Strategy, titled ‘Bringing Opportunities to Communities (Phase 2)’. The initiative aims to increase awareness and participation in football for Asian communities across England.
In addition to the exciting match, ANFA will engage in daily community activities supported by the Hampshire FA, Army FA, and Aldershot Town FC. These activities will allow fans to connect with the players and celebrate Nepali football culture.
This match is anticipated to be a momentous occasion for Nepali football and its growing diaspora in England.
