Dominant Men’s Performance
The men’s team displayed a powerful performance, defeating Sudurpaschim Pradesh in straight sets (25-20, 25-15, 25-16) at Rakhep’s Covered Hall in Tripureshwar. Their focus and execution left little room for challenge.
Women’s Team Edges Thrilling Match
The women’s team faced a tougher battle in a departmental derby against Tribhuvan Army. In a nail-biting five-set encounter (26-24, 25-22, 23-25, 22-25, 15-8), the Police team showcased their resilience and secured victory in the final set.

While the spotlight belonged to the Nepal Police Club this weekend, other teams also made their mark. In the men’s category, APF Gandaki Pradesh, bolstered by three Indian players, emerged victorious against the departmental team with a score of 25-22, 19-25, 25-20, 25-19.
The opening match on Saturday saw Tip Top Help Nepal kick off their campaign with a 3-1 win over Budhanilkantha Volleyball Club.
On the women’s side, APF secured a thrilling five-set victory (25-23, 23-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-3) against Chandragiri New Diamond.
