Nepal-Scotland World Cup League-Two Match

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League-Two match between Nepal and Scotland was abandoned on Tuesday due to the threat of inclement weather.

The washout provided some relief for Nepal, who have struggled in the tournament due to limited match experience. Despite the early termination, Nepal had made a solid start, reaching 26 runs for the loss of one wicket after winning the toss and electing to bat.

However, only six overs of play were possible before the rain forced the players off the field. Opener Anil Shah scored 10 runs off 19 balls before being dismissed by Brad Currie. Aasif Sheikh and Kushal Bhurtel were the unbeaten batsmen, with scores of 9 and 0 respectively.

With this result, Nepal remains in seventh place in the eight-team League-Two table, with just 8 points from 12 matches. Scotland, on the other hand, stays in third position with 14 points from 11 games.
