Tourist arrivals to Nepal have significantly increased, with 97,426 foreign visitors entering the country by air in February alone. This marks a notable rise from January’s 79,100 tourist count. The Nepal Tourism Board anticipates an even greater influx of tourists in March, April, and May – the prime season for trekking, mountaineering, and adventure activities.
India leads the visitor count with 25,578 tourists, followed by China (9,180), the United States (9,000), Thailand (4,799), the United Kingdom (4,571), Bangladesh (4,099), and Sri Lanka (3,684).
