Nepal Starts Strong

Nepal got off to a promising start in the second T20 match against Ireland Wolves, but early wickets have slowed their momentum at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Nepal reached 51 for 2 after the first six overs. Openers Kushal Bhurtel (25) and Aasif Sheikh (11) fell victim to the bowling of Ireland Wolves’ Matthew T Foster, who claimed both wickets in the powerplay.

Gulshan Jha and Anil Sah now hold the responsibility of rebuilding Nepal’s innings and setting up a competitive target.

This match comes on the heels of Nepal’s victory over Ireland Wolves on Monday, where they secured a six-wicket win.
