Kathmandu, Nepal – Nepal has officially selected the acclaimed drama film “Shambhala” as its submission for the 98th Academy Awards’ International Feature Film category.

Directed by Min Bahadur Bham and featuring a screenplay co-written with Abinash Bikram Shah, “Shambhala” offers a poignant exploration of life in a Himalayan polyandrous village. The film stars Thinley Lhamo, Tenzin Dalha, and Sonam Topden, who deliver powerful performances.
