The practice matches will serve as crucial preparation for Nepal’s League 2 series against Canada and Oman, which is slated to take place in Toronto from September 16 to 26. This will be Nepal’s second series in League 2.

A 19-member squad has been selected to represent Nepal in Sri Lanka. The team includes Rohit Poudel, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Anil Shah, Dev Khanal, Bhim Sarki, Aarif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Arjun Saud, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Gulshan Jha, Rijan Dhakal, Lalit Rajbanshi, Akash Chand, Sagar Dhakal, Sundeep Jora, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sandeep Lamichhane.

It’s worth noting that Kamal Singh Airee, Surya Tamang, and Basir Ahamad were not part of the training camp in Bangalore and have not been included in the Sri Lanka tour squad.

The practice matches against Sri Lanka will provide Nepal with valuable match practice and help them fine-tune their strategies for the upcoming League 2 series.
