Nepal’s weather pattern is shifting, with a mix of local air and a western system bringing changes primarily to the hilly regions. The Weather Forecast Division reports clear skies for most of the country this morning, but conditions are expected to change.
By afternoon, the Sudurpaschim Province could see light snowfall in high hilly, and mountainous areas. Tonight, the changes will extend to hilly regions in Lumbini and Bagmati provinces. Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces may also experience light snowfall in their highest elevations.
While snowfall is anticipated in these higher regions, the Division does not currently forecast rain elsewhere in Nepal today.
