Nepal’s weather is currently changing due to a combination of local air patterns and a Western weather system. The Weather Forecast Division reports clear skies for most of the country, but the hilly regions are seeing shifts.
This afternoon, the Sudurpaschim Province is expected to experience the most change, with light snowfall possible in the highest elevations. Tonight, other hilly regions including Lumbini and Bagmati, could also see changes.
The Weather Forecast Division predicts the potential for light snowfall in the high mountainous zones of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. However, they do not expect any rain today.
