Nepal, currently on tour in India, has won the toss and will bat first in the crucial final match of the SMS Friendship Cup against Gujarat. The Nepali team has made four changes to their lineup from their previous match against Baroda. Captain Rohit Paudel, Sompal Kami, Abhinash Bohora, and Aasif Sheikh return to bolster the squad, while fast bowlers Akash Chand, Pratish GC, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Anil Shah will be watching from the sidelines.

Nepal holds a positive record in the series, having defeated Gujarat twice (by 8 wickets and 8 runs) and Baroda once (by 27 runs). Their only loss came against Baroda in their most recent match, a 37-run defeat. Gujarat also enters the final with confidence, having overcome Baroda with 5-wicket and 57-run victories.
