A Nepali man was fatally shot during a robbery in Texas, USA. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Deepak Oli from Sije, Banfikot Rural Municipality-10 of Rukum Paschim.
According to his uncle, Deubhan Oli, a member of the District Coordination Committee, the incident occurred around 5 AM on Sunday, local time. Oli, who had been working at a gas station in Texas, was killed by a group of robbers.
Oli, who emigrated to the US illegally seven months ago, is survived by his wife and daughter.
The family has been informed of the tragic incident and is currently coping with the loss.
