Mamata Kafle Missing

A growing sense of alarm surrounds the disappearance of Mamata Kafle, a 28-year-old Nepali nurse, who has been missing from her Manassas Park home since July 31. The Manassas Park Police Department has classified her disappearance as suspicious due to the unusual circumstances.

Kafle’s friends last heard from her on July 28, while her husband claims to have seen her on July 31. However, it wasn’t until August 3 that her husband reported her missing to the police.

The police have conducted extensive investigations, interviewing neighbors, relatives, and friends, but have yet to uncover any concrete leads. Kafle’s absence has raised significant concerns, particularly given that she left behind her 11-month-old child.

Friends and community members have organized search efforts and are urging the public to help find Kafle. They expressed disbelief that a mother would leave her infant without a trace.

While Kafle’s husband has expressed concern and pleaded for his wife’s return, he has been unable to join the search due to childcare responsibilities. The case has drawn significant media attention, with hopes that increased publicity will lead to new information.

Authorities are continuing their investigation and are appealing to anyone with information about Kafle’s whereabouts to come forward.
