Nepali Worker Dies UAE

Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi has confirmed the tragic death of Mohan Pun, a Nepali worker from Bharatpur, who died in the recent floods affecting the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Pun was reportedly caught in floodwaters near a bridge on the road connecting Sharjah and Ajman while working at the Well Cafe restaurant. The embassy has stated that he was in the UAE on a re-visit visa.

Heavy rains over the past two days have caused widespread flooding throughout the UAE, leading to the closure of government offices. This has hindered the embassy’s ability to gather further details about the deceased.

The Nepali Embassy extends its condolences to Mr. Pun’s family and is working to provide necessary support.
