Nepali cricket star Sompal Kami is set to make history as the first Nepali player to participate in two World Cups. After representing Nepal in the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, Kami returns to the global stage with the experience of a seasoned veteran.

Kami’s journey is remarkable. The youngest member of the 2014 squad, he now steps into the role of Nepal’s most experienced player. He remains a pivotal force in Nepal’s bowling attack, boasting an impressive record of 58 wickets in 65 of Nepal’s 85 T20I matches.

Kami’s ability to strike early as a powerplay bowler is invaluable, and he maintains an economical 7.19 run rate. He’s also a capable batter, having scored 315 runs in 38 innings.

Sompal Kami’s return to the World Cup stage is a testament to his dedication and enduring impact on Nepali cricket.
