NEPSE Suffers Double-Digit Decline on Week’s First Trading Day

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a significant loss on Sunday, with the index dropping 10.62 points to close at 2070.25. The market trended downward throughout the day, with a slight recovery attempt in the last 20 minutes proving unsuccessful.

A total of 8,406,076 shares from 304 companies were traded, with a total value of Rs. 3,387,980,384. Most market sub-indices declined. Exceptions were the Development Bank Group (+0.82%), Financial Group (+0.62%), and Production and Processing Group (+0.29%). Share prices fell for 150 companies, while 84 saw increases.
