Singer Nishan Bhattarai and model Richa Neupane have officially concluded their marriage through legal divorce proceedings. On March 20, a single judge presiding over the Kavre District Court, Judge Bishwanath Bhattarai, issued the divorce decree.
The divorce case was initiated by Richa, and it was documented on the court’s website that a mutual divorce agreement had been reached between the couple. According to the court’s ruling, both parties were thoroughly briefed on the terms and implications of the settlement agreement. The agreement was certified in compliance with Section 193 of the Civil Procedure Code 2074, signifying the consent of both husband and wife to dissolve their marriage.
Their journey began with a court marriage in 2021, consolidating their two-year romantic relationship into a legal union. Nishan, renowned as the first runner-up of Nepal Idol’s inaugural season, has since risen to prominence as a beloved singer. Meanwhile, Richa has established herself in the modeling industry.
