Kathmandu Neighborhood Clash

A violent clash between neighbors in Kathmandu has resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries.

The incident occurred on Street Number 2 of Pode Tol in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17. Local authorities reported a dispute escalating into violence between residents.

A 33-year-old man, identified as Anit Punari, succumbed to injuries sustained during the altercation. Six others, including Subindra Pojari, Kiran Pujari, Dinesh Pujari, Maya Pujari, Bikram Pujari, and Amrut Pujari, were wounded and are currently receiving medical treatment at the Teaching Hospital, National Trauma Center, and People’s Hospital.

Kathmandu Police have apprehended seven individuals suspected of involvement in the clash. Those in custody include Sujal Deula, Amrit Pujari, Sagar Deula, Rabindra Pode, Kaleni Pujari, Tikamaya Pujari, and Sajti Pujari.

The District Police Complex Kathmandu and Police Britta Lainchaur are currently investigating the incident.
