A motorcycle accident in Mechinagar Municipality-15, Jhapa, claimed the life of one person and left two others seriously injured this morning.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Rajib Danuwar, a resident of Mechinagar-10. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Chand, the accident occurred when a motorcycle (number 1-01-016 Pa 418) traveling from Bhadrapur towards Dhulabari lost control on an inner road section in Mechinagar-15 Laljhoda.
Two other individuals riding a pillion, 21-year-old Abishek Rai and 21-year-old Bibek Danuwar, both from Mechinagar-10, sustained serious injuries. Their current condition is unknown.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
