Mugu: A fatal jeep accident occurred in Banjaha of Soru rural municipality-6, Mugu district, claiming the life of one person.
The deceased was identified as Nar Bahadur Bumi, a resident of Soru Rural Municipality-3. The accident happened when the Bolero jeep he was traveling in, with the registration number GA 1 JA 6467, was heading from Sorukot to Gamgadhi Bazar on Wednesday morning.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Birendra Thapa, the jeep fell about 100 meters down a slope while backing up. Only the driver and co-driver were present in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
