Widespread flooding triggered by heavy rains since late June has displaced more than 290,000 people from over 50,000 households across Myanmar. The crisis has impacted 10 regions and states, with rising river levels posing a significant threat.

Authorities have established 656 relief centers to provide shelter, food, water, and essential supplies to the affected population.

The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued warnings as water levels in major rivers within Ayeyarwady and Bago regions have surpassed danger levels.
