The Weather Forecast Division of the Water and Meteorology Department has issued today’s weather forecast for Nepal. Currently, a mix of local and westerly winds are influencing the country’s weather patterns.
For most of Nepal, clear skies are expected throughout the day. This includes Koshi Province, Madhesh Province, and Bagmati Province. However, things will be a bit different in the hilly areas. While most hilly regions will experience clear skies this afternoon, there’s a chance of partly to mostly cloudy conditions in some spots.
Be aware if you’re traveling through the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, or Karnali regions. There’s a possibility of light rain with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds at a few locations. Additionally, some high-altitude areas in these regions might see light snowfall.
Tonight, the weather calms down across the country. Mostly clear skies are expected, with only the hilly areas remaining partly cloudy.
