A 42-year-old woman has died after being struck by a police motorcycle in Bharatpur.
Susma Shrestha, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-2, was hit by a motorcycle (Na 21 Pa 1715) on the Bypass Road on July 19. The motorcycle was being driven by Surya Neupane, a police constable stationed at the District Police Office.
Shrestha succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
The involved motorcycle and the driver are currently in police custody as investigations into the incident continue.
