Palpa: A 53-year-old pedestrian, Tek Bahadur Dhenga Magar, lost his life in a tragic road accident at Rupse, Fedi in Palpa on Friday.
The fatal accident occurred when Dhenga was struck by a truck (Lu 2 Kha 145) traveling from Khare to Fedi on the Siddhartha Highway.
The injured pedestrian was rushed to Lumbini Medical College Prabhas, where he was pronounced dead by the attending physician.
The Temporary Police Post Madiphant and the District Police Office Palpa are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact circumstances leading to the accident.
