A tragic accident occurred in Banke district when a school bus collided with a pedestrian on the Dhakeri road section near Jhijhiri.
A resident identified as Gobinda Oli lost his life in the incident. Oli was returning home after grazing goats when the bus, en route to Chappargoudi in Kohalpur, veered off the road and struck him. Several goats were also killed in the collision.
The ill-fated bus, bearing the registration number NA 4 KHA 4570, belonged to Gyankunj Boarding School. An investigation into the accident is underway.
