In a shocking development, Gokarneshwor Municipality-3 Police have released Rupendra Lama, the 21-year-old suspect arrested in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Sushma Lama. Lama’s body was discovered buried in Tarebhir forest.
Initially arrested by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Lama had reportedly confessed to the crime. SSP Somendrasingh Rathore of the Office stated that Lama admitted to killing Sushma, alleging she did not reciprocate his romantic interest.
