Armed Police Seize Customs-Evaded Goods in Birgunj Raid

On Saturday, a large quantity of customs-evaded goods was seized by the armed police in Adarsh Nagar, Birgunj Metropolitan City-10. Acting on intelligence, a joint team from the Nepal Border Security Gulm Birgunj and the Birgunj customs office raided a warehouse. They discovered illegally imported clothing, cashew nuts, gas stoves, and other items estimated to be worth around 5 million rupees.

DSP Debendra Singh confirmed that the seized goods have been transferred to the Birgunj Customs Office for further action.
