On Wednesday morning, the Thamel Police recovered a Katuwa pistol and four rounds of ammunition from the Yeti Cozy Hotel. The discovery was made by hotel staff during a routine cleaning of room number 202 on the first floor.
Upon notification, police units from the District Police Complex Kathmandu and Police Circle Lainchour arrived at the scene to secure the weapon.
An investigation is currently underway to determine the origin of the firearm and the individual responsible for its placement in the hotel room.
