Salyan, Nepal – A school principal in Salyan district lost his life after being struck by lightning. Dal Bahadur Karki, 56, of Kalimati Rural Municipality-1, Lakshmipur, succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the district hospital for treatment.
Karki was the principal of the local Kalidevi Primary School. He was severely injured by lightning on Monday evening while tending to his cattle near his home. The deceased’s body was handed over to his family after a post-mortem examination.
