The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is set to embark on a significant two-day state visit to Nepal, commencing on Tuesday. Upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, he will be warmly welcomed by President Ram Chandra Paudel.

During this ceremonial reception, an impressive 21-gun salute will be accorded to the esteemed guest, underscoring the importance of this diplomatic occasion.

Reports from international sources indicate that the Emir of Qatar will engage in pivotal discussions with President Paudel on Tuesday evening. Subsequently, President Paudel will graciously host a dinner in honor of the distinguished visitor at the Solti Hotel.

On Wednesday morning, a bilateral meeting between the Qatari Emir and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will take place at the delegation level, fostering dialogue and cooperation between the two nations. The visit will culminate with the Emir’s departure on Wednesday afternoon, marking the conclusion of this significant diplomatic mission.
