Nepal’s Department of Water and Meteorology forecasts scattered rainfall throughout the day, thunderstorms, and lightning in some areas.
Currently, western and local winds are influencing the weather, bringing light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning to parts of Koshi and Bagmati provinces. The hilly regions of Koshi, Madhes, and Sudurpaschim provinces will experience partly to generally cloudy skies.
While the department predicts mostly clear conditions across most hilly areas, including Koshi and Sudurpaschim, there’s a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning, and wind impacting some locations in Bagmati, Koshi, and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, scattered showers are possible in the hilly regions of other provinces and one or two areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim province’s Terai regions.
For those at high altitudes, there’s a slight possibility of light snowfall in one or two locations within the high-hilled and Himalayan areas.
