David Warner led Delhi’s charge with a spirited 49 off 34 balls, while Tristan Stubbs put forth a valiant unbeaten 44 off 23 balls. Rishabh Pant (28) and Mitchell Marsh (23) also contributed valuable runs. Rajasthan’s bowling attack shone, with Nandre Burger and Yuzvendra Chahal claiming two wickets apiece, and Avesh Khan securing one.
Earlier, Rajasthan sent into bat after losing the toss, posted a formidable 185 for 5. Riyan Parag was the star of the innings, blasting an impressive 84 off just 45 balls, including 7 fours and 6 sixes. Ravichandran Ashwin (29) and Dhruv Jurel (20) were the only other Rajasthan batters to make significant contributions.
Delhi’s bowlers shared the spoils, with Khaleel Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar, Anrich Nortje, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav each taking a wicket.
