Rohit Kumar Ojha, an office assistant at the Pokhariya branch of the Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB), has been arrested for allegedly embezzling 13.7 million rupees. The National Investigation Department (NRD) apprehended Ojha on suspicion of executing unauthorized transfers through fraudulent Connect IPS transactions.
Reports indicate that Ojha diverted the funds to both his account and the accounts of other individuals. Authorities are currently conducting further investigations to uncover the full scope of the embezzlement scheme.
