The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has nominated engineer Dhruv Maharjan as their candidate for the Kirtipur Municipality mayoral by-election scheduled for December 1, 2024. The announcement was made at an event in Kirtipur Municipality, attended by RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden.
According to RPP spokesperson Mohan Kumar Shrestha, Surendra Upreti has been named the candidate for Ward No. 1 chairman, and Bijesh Basnet for Ward No. 4 chairman. The RPP also inaugurated its election campaign office in Kirtipur on Tuesday.
