The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has started a protest at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu.
The protest is against the arrest of party chairman and former home minister Rabi Lamichhane, and it has gathered RSP supporters from Kathmandu and Pokhara.
RSP Acting General Minister Kabindra Burlakoti says a large number of supporters are expected at the protest.
Leaders from the party’s office, including RSP Vice-Chairman Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Party Birajbhakta Shrestha, and MPs Sumana Shrestha and Shishir Khanal, are also joining the protest.
