Police in Salyan have arrested a man for possessing illegal firearms.
The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Sher Bahadur Wali from Bagchaur Municipality-7, was apprehended after authorities received a tip from residents.
Acting on this information, a team from the District Police Office Tharmare searched Wali’s residence. The search uncovered one loaded gun and another unloaded gun hidden in the kitchen.
According to District Police Office Tharmare spokesperson Pranau Karki, Wali is currently in police custody and under investigation.
