A petition filed at the Supreme Court demanding that former Minister Lila Ballav Adhikari of Koshi Province face legal action has been rejected by the Supreme Court administration. The petition was not registered, and it was returned without being processed. The Registrar of the Supreme Court, Bhadrakali Pokharel, issued the order not to register the petition.

The registrar stated that the constitutional right to decide whether to register a case lies with the government attorney and the Attorney General, and that challenging such decisions in the Supreme Court is not permissible.

If the petitioner disagrees with the decision, they can file a request with the Supreme Court against the order.

Senior lawyer Dinesh Tripathi had filed the petition, seeking legal action against former minister Lila Ballav Adhikari.
