The afternoon will see a continuation of these trends, with mostly clear skies persisting in the hilly regions, including the Koshi province. Partial cloud cover is expected for the rest of the country.
However, there’s a chance of things changing later today. The forecast predicts the possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and strong winds in some hilly areas, including the Koshi province. There’s also a slight chance of these conditions occurring in a few isolated locations elsewhere in the country. Additionally, light snowfall is possible in some high-altitude areas.
Tonight, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies in the hilly regions, including Koshi and Madhesh provinces. Scattered rain with thunder and strong winds is also a possibility in these areas, along with Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. One or two other spots in the remaining hilly regions may also experience similar conditions.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, the Department of Meteorology forecasts the continuation of scattered showers, with light to moderate rain with lightning and strong winds expected in some hilly areas, particularly Koshi and Madhesh provinces. The rest of the country also has a slight chance of experiencing these conditions.
