A scooter accident in Kathmandu on Saturday resulted in the tragic death of a 52-year-old man. Ramsharan KC, a resident of Kathmandu’s PepsiCola area, was riding scooter number 02 026 PA 6002 when it was involved in an accident near the Koteshwor Munibharav bus pocket.
KC sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to the Civil Hospital in New Baneshwar. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The Kathmandu District Police Complex Superintendent, Nawaraj Adhikari, confirmed the fatality. Further details and an investigation into the cause of the accident are likely ongoing.
