Several violent incidents marred the Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) in Bajhang district. District Police report assaults on SEE examinees at three separate examination centers on Friday morning. Four individuals sustained injuries in these attacks.
- At Khaptad High School (Khaptad Chhanna Rural Municipality), 17-year-old Khappis Thapa was injured by a sharp weapon. One suspect is in custody, and police are searching for additional assailants.
- At Chaudhari Mavi Junji examination center (Durgathali Rural Municipality), 18-year-olds Abhishek Bhandari and Bimal Bogati were beaten. Police have arrested those responsible.
- A 17-year-old student, Munn Bohora, was assaulted at the Kulmashtajan Mavi examination center (Mashta Rural Municipality). Authorities are searching for the suspects.
The motives behind these attacks remain unclear and are currently under investigation by the police.
