Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, playing for Karnali Yaks in the Nepal Premier League (NPL), celebrated his 39th birthday.
He marked the occasion with the Karnali Yaks team. Present at the celebration were Karnali Yaks co-founder Grihendra Ghimire, the face of Karnali, Swastima Khadka, and others.
The 39-year-old Dhawan had retired from all forms of cricket just a few months ago. Karnali Yaks signed him for at least four matches, with a maximum of five.
In his first game, Dhawan scored 14 runs against Janakpur, while in his second match, he hit a half-century against Kathmandu Gurkhas. However, Karnali remains winless so far in the tournament.
